Is your store open?

Rignt now during Shelter in Place, the doors to ARTHOUSE are closed.  We are able to offer curbside pick up and mail order.

Can I find Parking?

There is plenty of parking on R Street. For curbside pick up there is a 15 minute loading zone space in front of ARTHOUSE doors.  It's the perfect spot to wait for curbside pick up. 

What's a tea cozy?

Tea cozies are insulating covers for teapots to keep your tea piping hot.  

It is often made of fabric or knit or crocheted.  The cover can look like a toaster cover that slips over your teapot, or it might be a 'pot-hugger' style that stays wrapped around the teapot. Sometimes they are cute and whimsical.

Tea cozies can be used to update your tea table by using one made from themed or seasonal fabric.

Do you carry tea cozies?

Yes we do.  Our selection varies, so please ask for photos

Do you serve tea?

We are not a restaurant, but we do offer hot cups of tea to go.  You can choose any of the teas on the shelf to have prepared for you according to best brewing practices.  However, if you prefer your tea brewed a certain way, we'd be happy to accomodate you.

If you don't serve tea, what can I expect when I go to Tea Cozy?

We are a retail tea store featuring over 130 fine loose leaf teas sold bulk. We also carry teapots and tea cups.  We have tea treats made from local culinary artists and also imported from UK.

Gift Cards

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes, we do sell gift cards. 

 

Do you sell egift cards?

No, I"m sorry we do not. Hopefully soon we 

Can I use my gift card for online purchases?

Right now, our gift cards are unable to be used as payment online.  However, if you have a gift card, we can take your order over the phone and redeem your gift card as payment that way.

Tea Cozy Rewards Program (Fanfare)

What is Tea Cozy rewards program?

Tea Cozy rewards program is run through an outside company called Elavon. 

They keep track of sales using your name and phone number.

You receive one point for every dollat spent in the store. Once you get 200 points ($200 in purchases) you get a reward.

The next time you are in the store and spend over $20, you get $10 off your purchase.  There's no need to carry a card.

I am part of the :Fanfare Rewards program. Will my online purchase count toward that?

Yes, your online sales are entered into our Point of Sale app so all online purchases will be credited to your rewards account.

Can I redeem my rewards online?

The simple answer is no.  I'm sorry but our online store is not linked to Elavon.  

However, if you know you have your reward (which we do our best to notify you), you can email us at nami@tea-cozy.net and we will try to accomodate you.

Return Policy:

What is your return policy?

We take back items within 30 days of purchase with proof of purchase.

We are not able to take back bulk teas in packaging that have been opened.

Items such as teaballs and teapots should be unused and in original packaging if possible.

Money will be refunded to the original payment method.

We ship across US, including Alaska and Hawaii

How do you calculate shipping?

Online shipping prices are calcuated the following way:

Sales up to $50:    $8.50

$51-$75:  $6.50

$76-$99:  $4.50

over $100:  Free

How long will it take to get my item?

During this time of "Shelter in Place" we are in the store limited days.  We will strive to get your order packed and shipped within 5 days.  We ship by USPS Priority Mail which typically takes 2-3 days once post office receives.

Can I ship to another address or send as a gift?

Yes, we'd be happy to ship to a different address than your billing address.  You will need to input your billing address and shipping address.

If you are sending a gift and would like a note included, please make a note and we will be happy to do that.
