2nd Saturday "Spill the Tea" Paper Fan Workshop & Tea Tasting

Join us 2nd Saturday to try a selection of teas and paint your own paper fan.

The event will start with "spilling the tea" on paper fans by using strongly brewed tea instead of conventional paints.

After painting both sides of the paper for the fans, we will let them sit to air-dry.

While fans are drying guests will try a variety of blends used for the painting:

1. Butterfly Blue Pea Flowers

2. Matcha Green Tea

3. Snow Chrysanthemum

4. Hibiscus

5. Puerh

Once fans are done drying additional decorations and/or drawings can be applied to the dry paper.

We will stick the paper to a fan handle and then guests will take home their fan.

We will provide various brushes and pens to use to decorate your fan, feel welcome to bring your own pens/stickers etc. if you wish.

This event was inspired by the artwork in our store, the artist Kerry will be featuring their latest artwork upstairs during this July's 2nd Saturday.
